What started out as the hunt for the perfect hiking companion has turned out
to be quite an adventure.Having owned and bred both Lab and toy poodles, I was facinated when years back I saw a segment on the Morning Show about designer dogs, a Labradoodle was one of them.
I have been dedicated to raising high quality puppies since 1976 & I now am a small home-based breeder of quality standard-sized Labradoodles & Goldendoodles, breeding for the enjoyment of the puppies and to further promote Doodles that are of excellent health, conformation, and temperment.
I place great importance on the physical and mental health of my dogs and have selected the parents based on their genetic health as well as their gentle, non-aggressive temperaments.
They are are active, athletic dogs that enjoy running and playing with toys and jumping in the water when the days are warm & accompany us exploring the nearby lakes & mountain trails.They are also just as happy to lay around the kitchen and living room when they are indoors.
Our puppies are raised inside our home and are socialized with people of all ages. Our labradoodles are great with people and other dogs and make great family pets. We are firm believers that parent dogs MUST be health tested to ensure healthy puppies (see Health Testing for more info).
Adding a dog to the family is adding a new member. my goal is to place these special dogs into homes where they will be loved and cherished companions. I do this because I love the dogs, and the Labradoodle breed.
Although I have bred dogs for many years, I am what you would call a "hobby breeder". My dogs are not kept in kennels...they sleep at the foot of our bed (okay..sometimes on the bed too!), and live in our home as part of the family.
